The Craven Cancer Classic

The Craven Cancer Classic was first held in 2010 and is in memory of Scott Davenport, Brian Fisher & John Aylward who all valiantly fought this devastating disease right up until the end.  Each of these men showed great courage in their battles and were big proponents of helping others by sharing their stories.  Their generosity to the New Bern community can still be felt today.

To date the CCC has raised more than $300,000 to support families who are experiencing the financial burdens that come along with this disease.  The CarolinaEast Foundation has been a big sponsor of this event and also manages the funds raised to make sure they stay right here in our community.  

The event typically draws nearly 100 people and is growing every year.  It is held at New Bern Golf & CC which is a venue that is near and dear to these men and their families.  The club generously hosts our group and ensures we have a very successful event each year.
